When my m3 recently died on me I was sure I would be able to go out buy the right workshop tools I needed and get the car back to its former glory – it seems to be such a pain though I cant get this one tool I need anywhere – I have been looking for months but the exact spanner I need is not available in any local shops! grrr I will post about the repair when I get round to actually doing it – got to go out to a mates garage to try and borrow one now…To Be Continued

I am not even sure I have the right word with feudal – It might be another similar one I am thinking about – still my point is that we in an era where war seems to be the main focus despite being the least of most peoples concern.

When the whole world typically wants peace but a few key people continue the fight it is quite a sick situation. Through it all I am then paid to talk about cars – a machine powered by the oil the aforementioned men fight for – it kinda makes me regret my job – maybe I should look into etymology or cocorosie?

A popular trend amongst teenage girls today is to hire a Hummer H2 to transport their friends around town on their birthday. Gone are the days of a load of girls crammed into coches being driven to their party location, instead this new wave of teenager demands something with a bit more class for her birthday! Hummers are popular amongst the rich and famous, most specifically in America and it seems that they pull the look off with great effect. However what I think is that the drunken girls falling out of these vehicles appear to be very undignified, very different to those celebrities who own them. However when used as bridal vehicles the look is completely different, the interior can be decorated to match the colour scheme of the wedding and a bride emerging from it can look nothing short of a modern day princess.

The smart car brand is not one I would personally associate with if I was the designer or brand controller. Firstly because the plasticness of the cars but secondly because in my opinion they get noted for all the wrong reasons.

There are to this date 5 different Smart Car models, all of which as I can see it are uglier than any other car I have ever seen. Totalling this ugly scale is the beginning of the nightmare that was the original Smart car.

I originally saw the car on netvibes where they actually quite liked it, needless to say from the start I disagreed with this opinion and everytime I saw one disapproved completely. Furthermore every time I saw one it was being driven crazily – irresponsible driving is bad enough without doing it in a car that weighs approximatly 5 kg and is very top heavy. With safety features like your face and your bones I really don’t think speeding in one is a good idea.

Family (familj) is a good thing. It supports growth, learning, morality and takes a blank child and makes him into a grown adult, at least thats the idea. But given the choice of a people carrier (mpv) or 4×4 which is more suited for a large family? which is better for all round use? a car like the chevrolet tacuma or one like the Mercedes GLK300 – I would sincerely welcome your opinions. I would probably go with the 4×4 everytime, mainly because I despise mpv’s

When it comes to car commercials, auto tv ads – you can’t deny the impact Honda have had with their power of dreams adverts. From the Honda Cog ad where the cog rolls, bounces drops swings etc around a predetermined clever route of car parts all the way up to the newer honda adverts featuring schools of experts doing weird things together. One thing I do notice though is that not in one tv commercial has honda shown off its honda accord – the latest varient – maybe I havent seen them all but do they just not advertise their non-groundbreaking cars – or is it just crazy ‘branded entertainment‘ like the cadburys monkey drumming? I mean I know cabriolet cars are nicer to look at but surely something as work orientated as the accord or their estate models should feature in the days cycle of television advertisements? Mind you they are still selling fairly well!

Out of all the import cars I have to say the Mitsubishi delica is the coolest, not due to its extortionately high break horse power or its stunning modifications and paint job. More because it can seat 7 people comfortably, at pretty good speed and fuel efficiency for under £4k respectably. If your the sort of person who has a big family and ‘yall need to get about together then the Delica rocks. The best thing is because all the imported ones are from japan they are all well built as well as being cheap, a damn hard combination to beat, especially with your new ford cmax’s etc – that just dont cut it in the slightest, its a bit like pimp my ride was too much of a hit in the ford offices and some sensible person should have just turned the damn tv off!

Being a self named car critic I never expected to approach the topic of car salvage, I always wanted to stay nearer the brand new scale of the metal market. But Category D salvage was brought up and I was embarrassed to barely know a single thing about it – so I did a bit of research. The basic explanation of the categories:

Cat C = Cars that are messed up – written off

Cat D = Cars that are slightly messed up – fixable -ish

Cat E = Stolen cars

It was announced on top gear that there are 4 Bentley Continental GT’s registered as taxi’s in the borough of london. Pretty random you would think for a 90k+ used prestige bomb of a car. But it would seem used bentley continental gt’s are becoming somewhat of a popular secondhand buy, and with ken’s new london tax’s even more popular as mini cabs.

You see to register as a minicab in London costs somewhere around £110 in total, whereas congestion charge is somewhere along the lines of £5 per day all year round. It makes sense really? just comical how ken’s plan is so easily sidestepped.

I thought I would just throw this out there – which do you lot prefer out of the following unconnected items:

The reason I ask is that i had asked a researcher to find the top 10 most searched for things from the local news site and apprently thats them? I am so sure that he got the wrong end of the stick and looked up some technology search query type results instead though – I didn’t think people still searched for terms like photoshop?
